Kind, considerate and professional surgeon. Nothing but pleasant things to say. From the diagnosis to the operation, everything went exactly as expected. Which is saying something. His assistant scheduled promt appointments for me and I got a desirable date for surgery easily (within a month of my first call). I walked into my surgery all alone (studying at UC Irvine at the time), and the staff at Newport Irvine Surgical Center were so kind and warm...I walked out like a new man after a few hours. Can weightlift again. No discomfort. I can barely recall what it was like to live with an inguinal hernia. Great doctor and human being.

Dr. Steve Beanes is a no nonsense professional with the knowledge, experience and superior work ethic who provides surgery at a much higher level than the typical standard of care.

Highly Recommend........I recently had surgery to do a bilateral hernia removal and have been extremely pleased with Dr. Beanes as well as his staff. I've had 3 different appointments at his Newport office, all of which have been very prompt ( I wasn't sitting around in the office waiting for him to see me) and the staff has been super friendly. As for Dr. Beanes, he is a consummate professional. He was articulate and detailed in his explanation of the process but also listened to address any of my concerns. I felt like he wasn't rushed and took the time to make sure that I felt comfortable with everything he was discussing. Hopefully you never have to use him but if you are having a surgery that he performs, I would highly recommend.
