Little wait time for us for a mid-afternoon appointment, knowledgeable, clear, calming bedside manner, courteous wait staff. I am big into reviews and give a lot of consideration to others' experience. I'm glad I heeded the suggestion of a HOAG ER doctor in this case. Dr. Chen went above and beyond in the care for our daughter. He serves from the heart and I will definitely return in the future for any ENT needs. I don't feel the reviews are consistent with our experience. I definitely recommend.

When you go, make sure you can pay for your deductible or a several hundred dollar deposit. Why? Because they will not verify insurance and also not notify patients ahead of time if there is a problem. What they will do is they yell at patients until they break down and unnecessarily pay literally hundreds of dollars and leave the office in tears. How do I know? This just happened to my daughter who recorded them. Hopefully, someone gets this office some customer service training. Yikes!

After seeing multiple ENTs at UCLA and UCI, I had finally sort of given up until one of my close friends recommended me to see Dr. Chen. She had much wonderful things to say about Dr. Chen after he had successfully treated her snoring issues. And I agree! After seeing him for a couple of months, I'm finally seeing some improvements in my sinus issues. I've had allergy issues all my life and coupled with sinusitis everything seemed so hard and unbearable. My previous visits at major institutions always felt so rushed and even after numerous visits I felt nothing had really changed much-pointless even. Unlike those visits, my experience with Dr. Chen has been quite pleasant. He really spends the necessary time with you to listen to your problems, stories, concerns, etc. Not only that, he's very thorough in his examination. I love the big screen TV in his room where I can finally see what the heck is going on in my nose! I will continue to see him for my sinus needs. Hey, I may need surgery in the future, but at least I know it will be in the hands of someone who truly cares. Thank you Dr. Chen.

This doctor messed up my nose
He did a septoplasty on my nose...but instead of fixing the issue that I had...he created a hole in the septum...and damaged my nose from inside and when I asked to fix the issue he made...he refused to see me unless I pay for a visit which is over $225..he only cares about money
Becareful if he says you might need to have a surgery...take different drs opinion...and if it came that you really need to do a surgery
Make sure to have pictures xrays or video taking that shows how is your nose from inside and where is the issue...incase god forbidden if he made a mistake inside your nose you can sue him...for what he did
And always always read the documents before you sign on them especially when it comes to surgery...
I hope everyone feels better
Juat Becareful of this Dr the mistake he did in my nose made me suffer and suffer...

This doctor has ZERO bedside manner. I would leave negative points if that was possible. My mother came to see him yesterday and since she didn't have the type of insurance the doctor accepts offered to pay cash. The office scheduled her an appointment a week in advance. She showed up at a scheduled time, completed all of the required paperwork, and after waiting for THREE hours was told that the doctor decided that he can't see her. I would hope the doctor went to medical school to heal people, but this one clearly is in it for the wrong reasons. Shame!
