Put off getting carpal tunnel surgery on my wrist for years because I was afraid ,not ashamed to admit it lol .finally when the pain got so bad I went back to Dr. Ip to tell him I was ready to do it. He was kind understanding the surgery went perfect, I had no reason to worry at all he put me at ease. The staff around him were amazing. Couldnt recommend Dr. Ip and the staff more.

It's been 2 weeks since carpal tunnel surgery from Dr.Ip on my right hand at the HOISC in Newport Beach. The surgery center staff was excellent and efficient. Dr. IP was very efficient and thorough in his explanation of the surgery prior and of the surgery itself. I am very pleased so far with the results and am healing very quickly. I would recommend Dr. IP for carpal tunnel surgery.

He isnt very kind sympathetic as well if he find something Wrong like bone on bone in osteoarthritis.he just tells you and just sends you off checks not forno other secondary issue which turns out I do have .truly he has no bedside manner either. I dont know why he is a dr if he dislikes people and cares so little and helps so little

My 14 yo daughter broke her finger on a Sunday playing softball. Knowing nothing about Newport Orthopedic personally I decided to call them first thing Monday to see how soon they could see her. Dr. Ip had an opening that day. After reading some reviews I went in with caution. Dr. Ip was nothing like what some of the reviews say. He took time and answered all of our questions. Laid out both the non surgical option and the surgery option. We didnt feel pressured to pick surgery but we ultimately did. He was able to get her in within the week. His bedside manner was perfect! He was super friendly, answered more questions of ours and extremely easy going. Our experience with Dr. Ip and the entire staff, including the surgery center have exceeded our expectations. Knock on wood no more injuries but given that she is an athlete we know sometimes its inevitable. Should we ever need another hand doctor, we will reach out to Dr. Ip without hesitation.
