I was visiting CA from VT and blew out my SI joint on the plane ride over here. Hobbling around like an old lady for a week then called Dr. Gus. He took me in, immediately and did his magic and in less than 10 minutes, I was perfectly aligned! Thank you so much! Highly recommend him and his office!

Dr Gus is a healer..woke up in the morning and couldnt get out of bed from lower back pain ..wife had to pull me up just to get on my feet..office took me in same morning ..after short massage and adjustment I was pain free and able to enjoy the rest of my vacation *****.
Highly recommend if you are having an issue..

Ive been going to Dr Gus for years. He is professional, warm, caring and very effective in relieving my discomfort. I love that I can walk-in as needed without an appointment or expensive, unnecessary bundle of services.

Huge thanks to Dr. Gus and office staff! I'm another visitor to Newport Beach and on the first day in town, I threw my back out. It's a chronic condition for which I see a chiro regularly at home to keep my back in check. However with my long car drive to SoCal, softer beds then I am used to, hauling luggage around, it was just a matter of time before my back gave in and I became incapacitated. I needed a fast fix due to my itinerary and being alone with my teenage daughter. Found Dr. Gus online and the positive reviews were the reason I called him first. I AM SO GLAD I DID! I called the office within an hour of knocking my back out and they were able to fit me in same day - a miracle! The office staff was also very nice and had an amazing ability to put me at ease. Everyone was very understanding and hospitable - honestly, I was in quite a state and Dr. Gus and his office manager were just so, so kind.
Dr. Gus got to work after a brief interview on my back history and dug in, but my back was not having any of it! He kept working on my muscles and really got in there (some chiros are a little nervous around new patients, but not Dr. Gus - he's confident in his abilities, in a positive way). He even loaded me up with BioFreeze packets and a back brace to help me get around enough that I could continue my trip with my daughter. The brace was a huge help and Dr. Gus was very compassionate and really wanted to help make me feel better.
I was able to squeeze in a second appointment before I left Newport, and this time, Dr. Gus was able to adjust my stubborn back beautifully - enough for me to carry on with a long car journey home. Three days later-- I'm not at 100% yet, this episode was a real doozy, but if I hadn't found Dr. Gus, I believe I would have had to cut my trip short and crawl home in terrible pain. His fees were also very reasonable and he doesn't charge you additional or inflated fees for being a new or temp patient fee--and he could have! He's honest, caring and very capable. I couldn't ask for anything else in my time of need.
If my daughter ends up moving to Orange County next year I will look forward to becoming a regular patient. Thank you again, Dr. Gus!
