I thought it would be easy to get pregnant through IVF after having 2 natural pregnancies.  I was wrong.  After 3 egg retrievals and 3 chemical pregnancies after embryo transfers, I looked to acupuncture to help me in my 4th transfer.  I had no medical issues that would have prevented me from getting pregnant.  I had good quality eggs and embryos but it seemed like nothing would work--no matter what medications I was on.  I was referred to Shabnam and after 6 weeks of treatments prior to my 4th transfer and acupuncture on the day of the transfer, I got a positive pregnancy test.  Two days late I had another BETA and got another positive test.  I am now almost 5 months pregnant with our 1st IVF baby (3rd child) and cannot express how helpful Shabnam has been throughout this process.  I continued with acupuncture through the first trimester.  Shabnam is knowledgeable, has a lot of experience with IVF, and provided me with the confidence that things would go well.  And they did.  I truly believe that acupuncture made a difference with this transfer.  The 45 minute drive to see her 2x/week was well worth it.  If you have not considered acupuncture with your fertility (IUI, IVF, or anything else), please consider it.  I have recommended it to a handful of friends who are trying to get pregnant.  Should I decide to have another child, I will definitely be returning to Shabnam.

I wish I could give this group more than 5 stars! Dr. Shohreh Mehvar is awesome. she literally changed my life. Dr. Mehvar is a very positive person, I love her character and personality. I have seen a number of acupuncturists over the years but Dr. Mehvar has been the best by far.  Very professional and overall great family owned business. looking for the ultimate relaxation experience...this is the place to go!!!

Dr.Mehvar, has made such a difference in my wellbeing. I had been suffering with sciatica pain for over a year and within three visits I was able to sleep through the night. Besides taking care of the pain she has helped me lose weight. What's not to love about her. She's a very caring practitioner and I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Mehvar has helped immensely with my chronic pain and inflammation. She is very attentive and genuinely cares about my wellbeing! I found her on Yelp after reading reviews from several other patients who had found relief for their fibromyalgia pain and she was able to put an end to the horrific pain I was experiencing in my hip/leg. I continue to see her whenever my fibro flares up and I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for an alternative to pain meds.
