Excellent work by Chelsea and her team. Twas a difficult escrow with FHA pulling ceritification, HOA less than professional and Buyers Agent letting a Transaction Coordinator do the Agents work. Her team brought all the paperwork together needed to close.

I regret that I have to leave them even one star. Whatever you do don't cancel escrow with this company because they will not release your earnest money deposit until you pay their bank fees for them. GREED AT ITS FINEST! Avoid Newhall Escrow Co. Inc. if you can. Unfortunately as one of the buyers in a recent transaction I was unable to select the escrow company so my hands were tied and now it seem as if our money is as well. I don't mind paying any fees so long as they are disclosed and agreed upon. but this underhanded way of holding our deposit because we will not pay "Their" banks fee is unethical. At no time were we informed nor did we agree to pay such fee. Now Steve Corn shame on you as owner of the company I expected a little more resolve. But what is to be expected from the person whom I overheard raise their voice on the telephone at my co-buyer. And to have the nerve to follow up that phone conversation with emails accusing her of threating you with unfavorable social media posts is entirely unprofessional. But I guess you would know threats as you use them ever so discretely by ensuring to notify her broker about being " a person capable of making such threats", though that should make for some fascinating talk as she herself was not the acting realtor for our transaction. And to cc your attorney in the email speaks volumes of the type of person you are. But I guess every swindler knows at least one scare tactic I regret that our dealings with you and your company would have to lead to such a unpleasant experience. At the end of the day all we wanted was our deposit returned in full.
