        We came to Maple rock gardens in order to pick the lavender. I had visit in these gardens before when the home was owned by the previous owners and it was absolutely breathtaking then. I knew that with the Scots acquisition of the property I was in for at least an elevated experience. I was absolutely amazed. Nearly every detail of the entire garden has been kept and improved there are so many nooks and cranies and welcoming corners to sniff, sit and sip. He kept the train tracks but now the property is easily some of the best in the Placer County area he has added an enormous lavender field and even more water features. If you ever get the chance to go bring a picnic it is very worth whatever entrance fee is required.
