Thank you Brandon and everyone at Ice for motivating and teaching my girls to be confident in the world. They have been given individual attention and motivation. They are so strong and self confident. The skills they have learned are a gift they will have forever. I can't say enough nice things about the school. They are professional and friendly. Most respected martial arts training around! The unique thing about their training is it's not about the belt color. It's about learning highly effective tools of self-offense! Learning to be more aggressive and prepared at any momemt to stop or knock down and put an end to your attacker! Highly recommend you join. Great workout as well.

Coming from an average joe. I knew nothing about self defense.... or ICE refers to it, "self offense". I played hockey, so I've been in fights prior to joining but I had no technique or skill. Joining this class has boosted my confidence and self esteem. Everyday I'm trying to get better.

Probably the best place to learn martial arts in California. If you're dedicated and want to learn this is the place for you.   There have been only 2 injuries in the 10 years I've been there so I'm not sure  what the other review is talking about but safety is one of the top priorities of this facility.  If you want real world self defense training this is the place for you,  NOT that MMA nonsense.

Great teaching and learning environment!! Like any martial arts studio, it's obvious with their actions/words, that the staff at ICE believes in their art and its effectiveness. UN-like many other martial arts studios, the staff at ICE takes time explaining, demonstrating and modeling the techniques they ask of the students without becoming defensive, when a technique is questioned. Brandon, Jared and the other staff members start you at a very slow, technique based pace. They take time to work with you on your individual needs/limitations and when necessary, challenge you to improve your skills in an organic timeline. What's impressive about ICE, are the streamlined, straightforward techniques, that don't require abstract thinking to understand. Additionally, with their understanding of adult learning, they teach to the style that's most likely to positively impact the student. Many times in class, they provide multiple ways of learning a technique, to accommodate the student's understanding. I would highly recommend ICE urban combat to anyone looking for straightforward, common sense martial arts training.
