AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Black mold and roach infestation before we even moved in. paying 2558 for living in mediocre conditions. Office is understaffed and maintenance staff, guy, has no idea what he is doing. We have been here since July and already have had the washer and parts of our cabinets replaced and that is only what we've gotten too. **not gated* only for cars and homeless everywhere and including on the premises sleeping in bushes. Seriously, look somewhere else.

Been living here for two years now and its been a great experience. We moved in during the height of the pandemic, the craziest of times, yet the staff was super responsive and helpful. There has been a change in management which lead to slight changes in their operation. Change in management is always a toss up, but From what I have seen so far the changes made were in a positive direction. They have made many improvements along the way which include adding fresh mulch and paint. The landscape is serviced weekly and the maintenance staff is always quick to respond to customer requests. The new management team goes above and beyond by not only sending out timely communication but requesting feedback from tenants. I have directed my feedback to them and each time I have felt like my voice was heard. Thank you all for everything you do to keep the complex a nice and comfortable place to live. The neighborhood is very laid back and blue collar. This isnt the hills so if you are looking into moving in dont expect super high class living. However, I personally enjoy the energy that this neighborhood brings. Everyone has their own character and my encounters have been nothing but friendly. Im not a Newark native but have lived in the Bay Area my whole life and I absolutely have fallen in love with Newark.
