JLM Designs

I just wish I waited for Jackie to do my overall plans for our 1885 Victorian. We ended up working together and she did our kitchen design, furniture selection, color selection and we were really happy with everything. Her idea to make a longer island for counter seating was genius as we were lacking in space-forever grateful as that is all we use. My draftsperson ended up making a mistake and she did help us out with that. Jackies ideas are well thought out. Money spent was well worth it. I just wish I waited for her to do my plans... Working with Jackie at JLM Designs has been a positive experience. The information she brought to the table from prior work with Napa made the process so much easier. She listened to what I said I wanted and didn't try to upsell me.  When what I wanted wasn't feasible, she offered a similar option that would be allowed.  I will for sure use JLM for any design plans I need in the future.

I don't even know where to start. I guess I'll start by saying that Jackie is absolutely amazing. We did a pretty big remodel on our home back in August and hired her to do our design. We went back on forth on if we even wanted to hire a designer. I'm really glad we did! We've now learned that remodeling is not easy endeavor and remodeling during a pandemic made it even worse. Let me tell you, she was worth every penny! Jackie was the bright light through the whole process. She has a very good understanding of the construction industry and process (as she's grown up with it her entire life), and had to talk us off a ledge a couple of times. Her process was easy and straight forward, and I think she did a good job trying to understand and unravel our design concept. We trusted her with our design, but if there was something we wanted tweaked or changed, she made it happen. She has tons of samples on hand to show you and if she doesn't she'll order it right away. TLDR: If you want a great designer, who is easy to work with and has an eye for detail, Jackie is your person.

Working with Jackie was amazing. She was incredibly receptive to our goals, and worked with us through mutiple iterations of our kitchen remodel plans to get it right. She understood our budget and helped us to make decisions, and find vendors, that would help us stick within our means. While we have yet to start our project due to the Covid pandemic, we hope to do so in the next few months and eagerly await the new kitchen she designed for us.
