Different By Design, Inc.

Sue has been doing remodels for me in several of my rentals and both of my primary homes for almost five years.  I LOVE her design ideas and wouldn't think to do a renovation without her!  She has saved me $$$ at times and definitely steered me clear of mistakes by having the vast amount of experience she does.  I am proud now to call her my friend and look forward to many more years of working with her!

Beware!! Had our kitchen remodeled and paid up front- first red flag- when cupboards came in they did not fit. Drawer would not open, refrigerator was too tight. She pulled out 4 cupboards and replaced with 2 and it looks terrible!  Took her to small claims court and judge listened to both sides and made judgement in our favor.  Now she said she would make payments but nothing yet.  She emailed me and said she had no money.  Had to go to sheriffs office to get a bank Levy.  Whatever you do-do not believe a word she says and mostly do not use different by design-  Different is what you will end up with and not a good different    Read other reviews and go with a different company!!  Save yourself money and headache

Beware!!! I am not sure who all is giving good reviews but look at her yelp reviews this company is bad!! Had my kitchen remodeled and hired Sue Different by Design-what a mistake. Cupboards were late getting here and she said the manufacturer had problems with rain and they shut down production. I called the manufacturer to check if this was true after weeks of delays and they said no rain delays and they have never shut down. Paid up front ( any company that wants you to pay in full for the cupboards in full when you order is a company that you should run from) when cupboards finally arrived they did not fit. Had to take her to court and the judge ordered her to refund me. Judge saw pictures of what my kitchen looked like after she was done Now She says she has no money . Waiting for jobs to come in. Had to go to sheriffs office to file a bank Levy. Save yourself a headache and money and find a different company cause what you will get is something different alright-and not in a good

Can't express how great Sue and her team are! I was first introduced to this company when my mom remodeled her kitchen. I was so impressed with the design and price/quality of cabinets they supplied. I tried them on one of my rental property's and was amazed even with them coming out and designing the kitchen there prices were still competitive with the wholesalers I used in the past. I have now done 5 kitchens with Different By Design would never use any other company. I have also referred them to several friends and family who have all been satisfied with them also. Sue has saved me lots of time, money and aggravation over the years. I plan on using them for more properties.
