Titus Waterproofing came to our rescue when we had water intrusion in Santa Cruz from the 2022-2023 atmospheric river deluge. This was in one of our apartment units that is 5 feet below grade and in a basement. Ralph is incredibly knowledgeable about water intrusion, hydrostatic pressure and ground water / water table rise that was causing the issues. Through know-how and experience, Ralph and his team were able to identify water coming in at the cold joint (where the concrete wall and concrete floor come together) and around old sewer and air vent pipes that come up through the concrete floor. He also made valuable observations about cracks in concrete floor that we repaired and suggestions to waterproof our basement (10 feet below ground). Through different waterproofing methods and materials (injection grout) and others, they were able to stop the water intrusion period. We are thrilled that we can now renovate from the water intrusion and take other recommended steps on the exterior down the road. I now know the meaning of "water always wins".
I called most of the waterproofing companies around Santa Cruz and Santa Clara counties and few would even consider a smaller residential job and even fewer would even come out and provide advice or a quote. Ralph does big jobs but thankfully was willing to take ours on.
Ralph is a knight in shining armor who educated us and found and solved our water intrusion problems. He was available to answer questions and communicated effectively with perseverance to stop the water intrusion. Can't thank him and his team enough--I feel very lucky to have had Titus as our waterproofing contractor. And on top of all of that, his bill rates were reasonable and the cost for the repairs came in below the projected and expected cost for this work. I highly recommend Titus with a 5+ star rating.
