I purchased a Pentair MasterTemp Pool Heater 400,000 BTU Propane Low Nox EC-462029 in January of 2023 and had it installed on March 22, 2023 by an authorized Pentair installer/dealer. The heater has started to fail after less than 60 days in service. Beware about the warranty when purchasing from this online retailer as it is only for 1 year and does not include labor. This product has broken twice in the past year, I would NOT recommend purchasing this product.

Find your item elsewhere. I purchased a wireless base receiver for a pool remote from this site, and it wasn't able to solve my problem. I initiated a return, and customer support sends me a 7 word response, saying I need to plug it straight into the main board. I informed them that plugging it in yielded no results, to which they informed me that I can no longer return it, because it's been plugged in.. Pretty incredible. "Please plug it in, didn't work?, sorry, our policy states we don't take returns on items that have been plugged in (even if we told you to)". After many back and forth emails explaining how unethical this was, they informed me that they will make a one-time exception and send me the details on initiating the return. The policy states that there is a 15% restocking fee, and the return can be declined upon receipt. Nothing about my interaction leads me to believe that any sort of refund will be received upon sending them the item back. Even if this company has the item you want for less, I would recommend paying more elsewhere and having a better experience.

Pool valve had a barely visible crack with the naked eye but when I used a magnifier to take a clear photo through magnifier I could see it and who knows when water pressure build up can leak. I received a free return label so I have to look somewhere for another valve. 2 other valves from a major site had other hairline cracks and I returned them so I don't know ... these made in China parts are a pain look at these clear pictures that I took with a magnifier ..what I send to poolsupply4less in first email was not clear enough cause I used phone for photo but in the next emails they saw it more clearly. Cannot risk another installation payment for something that shows a crack look at it when it comes back please. Pay attention with this site cause return policy is shady better with other major sites where return is free and no risks. I order here only because I had surprises w similar valves at other site. This is not their fault cause defect is barely visible and easy not to be seen and they refunded. PS- part is Hayward but they are made in China assembled in US. Injection molding machine more likely has a problem otherwise the valve looked very good...the problem with this company is that they don't offer free returns if you changed your mind or from the moment you install the part it become a manufacturer warranty and you cannot send back so better read their return and refund policy is not like other major sellers.
