Can't say enough good things about Faucetman Plumbing. Having recently purchased a home in Rosamond, I was eager to install a water conditioning system to combat the hard water we have. Now, shopping for a water system is unlike shopping for most things because it's difficult to know what your needs are (salt vs. conditioner, uv, gpm needs, system life in 100kgallons, etc.) not to mention what maker to trust. Scheduling an estimate for the installation with Doug solved this problem and then some. While here we settled on an excellent Aquasana water conditioning system (then on sale) that met my needs and a price for an install before I did the typical, "Hey, can you look at this too?" to ask about my water heater which had recently been underperforming and had knocking noises. Come to find out that the prior homeowner did not maintain the unit and, although it could be flushed, it would probably only last a few more years, but Doug informed me of a state-sponsored rebate program to transition to tankless so we opted to do both the water conditioner and tankless heater.
Scheduling the installations was a breeze with Rachel in the office and they also arranged the purchase of the tankless heater (which Doug personally retrieved for the job). Doug and his assistant showed up promptly on installation day and went to work on the water heater and I was able to see exactly HOW clogged it was (so bad that when the stopper was removed it wouldn't flow through the accumulated debris). While working on it, Doug noticed that there was some pressure loss and quickly found a faulty shower valve and was able to fix it so that the tankless heater could finish being installed and having taken the necessary pictures, Rachel was able to file for the rebate (which came 6 weeks later) and I really appreciated that they made it so hassle-free. Two weeks later, when the Aquasana system arrived, Doug was back out and made short work of the install. The water quality is excellent and the gas bill is lower--couldn't be happier.
