The first time you walk into Dr. Potts office you realize that this will be a different dental experience. Waterfalls cascade down the walls and plush chairs surround the waiting room. The entire environment has a spa like atmosphere. The people around you are drinking wine, tea, and gourmet coffee. What is going on here I thought? The drinks are just part of the 'VIP' menu, which also includes lip balms and essential oils. The wine and beer is for those who need 'liquid courage'. The staff, dental hygienists, and doctors, are some of the nicest people you'll meet. They do everything they can to make you comfortable, explain any and all dental procedures and make you want to come back as you sit in your vibrating dental massage chair having your teeth cleaned.

The back room staff you see, the folks who do the procedure and or cleaning. Are for the most part great.
The front room staff, while polite, are just there to make as much money as possible.
After three family members being over charged for basic cleanings or fillings.
Moorpark Center For Dentistry under Mr. Potts held onto overpayment money for almost a year. While acknowledging they had the money and it was an overpayment. After calling the first time you will get oh yes you have a refund, we will send you the refund in the mail. Call again, same thing, three months later, six months later. Same thing. I had to go back in the office physically to get a $60ish dollar refund check for overpayment.
They bill as much as they can knowing its too much and hope that the patient never realizes. Then they keep the money.
Its not right.
While providing decent industry standard services. THEY ARE PREDATORS TRYING TO GRAB YOUR MONEY.
Three family members, over five years, all with separate insurance and separate visits.
Additionally. They will recommend high end expensive procedures you do not need. Like gum graphs and fillings you really dont need at the moment.
Sad. Patients should come first, but here at Moorpark center for dentistry, money comes first.
Mr. Potts needs to keep that fancy house on the hill and driving new cars.
Shame how they treat the community of Moorpark.

I neglected going to the dentist for five years mainly because of COVID. Moorpark Center For Dentistry was recommended to me and so happy I went. The facility has the latest and best in exam equipment, procedures, and personnel. The moment you walk in you feel the calm, professional environment.
