Dont live here. Its over priced and there are so many issues with living here. Aside from the issues that others have mentioned which I can attest to, one of my biggest problems with living here is the noise from
the hallways and the stairs. So basically the hallways and stairs are either super old or poor quality to begin with. When youre inside your apartment, you can hear every footstep of people walking in the halls and up and down the stairs. And most people dont step with consideration , no they stomp their way up and down the stairs and hallways. Oh and every single front door is designed to slam shut unless you control the door to close softly , which no one does , so all the doors slam shut and it literally shakes my apartment. Youre required to pay for valet trash so everyone has trash bins outside their apartment in the hallways , sounds nice but everyone is lazy and takes advantage of this , so your hallway to go home is basically an alleyway always filled with trash and smells awful. I would be able to deal with these things If I was paying $2,200 or so for a 2 bedroom apartment but they are charging $3,000 a month for this. Its not like youre in Santa Monica , youre in Moorpark, theres nothing to do here , its farmland, the traffic here is crazy for what it is , insane amount of large commercial trucks blocking your way through traffic to get to the freeway every morning, then you have the highway 23 the only way in or out which is the new 405 the traffic on it is nuts. So stay away from the Avery at Moorpark.

Amenities always seem to be unavailable, yet we are still being charged full rent.
Pool has been closed for a long while now. (Couldnt they have done this during the winter?) Playground being taken down and replaced.
I dont care what color the building is. However i do mind the inconvenience of having people constantly having to come in and out of my home. The amount of unnecessary work this complex has planned out is outrageous!
Its been back to back for about a year now , I just want to enjoy my living space in peace. I wish theyd focus more on the things that actually need to be repaired and cleaned. Like the dirty halls and gates.
