Highly recommended. I believe Dr. Irene Geoege is the best by far. She is very experienced. She saved my teeth after a very bad dental experience somewhere else. She is extremely gentle. She was successfully and painlessly able to fix the previous dentist's poor quality work. I am so happy with her and with the office team.

I have been Dr George's patient for over a year and I can say that Dr George and her staff make going to the dentist painless. Before becoming Dr George's patient I dreaded going to the dentist. These days, I actually look forward to my checkups and cleanings. There's never a long wait and the procedures are painless. Dr George is great at making me feel like I am more than just a patient. It's like visiting a friend.

I was referred here because the dentist on base was booked and this woman did a terrible job on my fillings. She was there alone, doing the job of receptionist, dental assistant, and dentist all by herself. When I arrived she shouted from the back room apologizing for the wait while she worked on someone else. While she was working on me she gave the same apology to the next patient who arrived after me. She rushed through my dental work, not even bothering to check my bite or even polish the filling material once it had set. I was scraping shards of porcelain off my teeth for the next week and had a sharp, shooting pain any time I chewed on the right side of my mouth. I went back to the Army dentist due to the pain and he said he had to redo all 4 of the fillings she botched. This was 2 years ago and I still have pain in one of my teeth any time I eat something crunchy or drink something cold. I had zero complaints about my teeth before I went to see her. No pain, no sensitivity. I think about her every time I eat now. What she did to me is inexcusable, unconscionable, and unforgivable. I told the Army dental clinic to never send her another patient. She should lose her dentistry license for deliberate malpractice.

Summary: Do not go to Dr. George if you need your overseas dental screening. She and her office are not familiar with the forms. I was also told I needed a deep cleaning and that I had some cavities and that they would not sign the forms until the work was done. I had a second opinion today and was told my teeth are fine, no cavities, and I don't need a deep cleaning and he signed my forms immediately. Detail: I had an exam and cleaning a month ago. I was told that there was nothing about my xrays that would keep her from sending me overseas. She then went on to say she recommended a deep clean because of gum recession and bone loss and then she told me I had some tiny cavities she would take care of during the deep clean. I went to schedule the appointments for the deep clean but when I asked about Dr. George signing the form I was told that they couldn't be signed until the recommended work was done. I thought it was odd but didn't press since I was planning on getting the work done anyway. A few days later i was warned by a past patient of Dr. George to run for my life and go anywhere else even if it meant paying 3 fold out of pocket. Needless to say I was quite alarmed and couldn't go through with the appointment. I canceled the them. I then had my medical screening with my military Dr. I told her about the whole situation. She explained to me that even if I needed a deep clean Dr. George could still sign my papers and I could be categorized as a Class 2. Class 2 is defined as "Patients with a current dental examination, who require non-urgent dental treatment or re-evaluation for oral conditions unlikely to result in a dental emergency within 12 months." I called Dr. George's office and informed them that per my military Dr, if all I needed was a deep clean, I would be a class 2 and could have my paperwork signed without having the work done. Dr. George flat out refused but also wouldn't really give me an answer as to why. The receptionist kept saying they didn't know anything about a class 2 and that it wasn't the way they do things. I decided it wasn't worth the fight so I found a different highly rated dentist on Cass Street and scheduled a second opinion. I had that exam this morning and was told that I do not have any cavities, and that I don't need a deep clean and he signed my dental clearance form without hesitation. He also categorized me as a Class 1 on top of it all. The whole experience was very unnerving and suspicious and delayed my forms by an entire month. I really feel that Dr George should familiarize herself and her office with military forms since she takes military affiliated insurance and is in close proximity to so many military installations. I am filing a report with United Concordia because I was shocked at her claimed ignorance regarding the different classes. I'm very disappointed because the office was initially very friendly.
