Kimiko was my agent as I bought my first ever home, in Sebastopol. She was resourceful, thoughtful about property potential, always available, and possesses a deep local knowledge (and rolodex) for the Sebastopol area. Above all, Kimiko's awareness of micro-regions/neighborhoods in Sebastopol really helped put properties into perspective. She also has a good eye for how a property could be improved upon, and that was really helpful for imagining the potential of a space. As a single and first-time buyer, there were some times when I felt Kimiko could have offered more insightful or blunt assessments of how strongly or poorly a property seemed to fit ME and the vision we had discussed. This is my only criticism, and was not always the case to be fair. Perhaps as a buyer I just needed that additional reassurance or insight. The property I ended up buying was an off-market listing that Kimiko found because of her close ties to other local agents. Kimiko identified it as a great fit for me, got me in to see the place before it was listed, and the seller accepted my first offer. I would more than likely still be looking if not for Kimiko identifying this property as a great match for me. I have also subsequently asked Kimiko for recommendations for local services and she has always come through with recommendations.

Kimiko is the best! My wife and I have bought and sold many properties and Kimiko has been the best realtor we have ever had. She understands the market, the nuances of different areas and gives great advice. She really goes above and beyond in order to help facilitate closing. I would recommend her to anyone looking to purchase or sell a home.
