I live in the Russian River area so was pleased to see the restaurant at the Village Inn opening again. The location is gorgeous. It overlooks the river and has a beautiful outdoor eating area. The people are welcoming and friendly. The food is excellent. I had a duck breast on a Sunday evening that was perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. On my next visit I enjoyed the fettucine Alfredo; again perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. The wine list is on the expensive side for full bottles, but you can get a great glass at a reasonable price. I recommend the Village Inn to anyone who loves great food, lovely people and relaxing views. You can't beat it.

The inn is among the Redwoods South of Guerneville on the Russian River. Fresh, sweet air abounds. Prime rooms view the river with enough glass like being on a Tram at least in room "D" and G. Upper decking has river views. The river looks clean. A low key Inn, very relaxing. Restaurant is Thur-Sun opens @ 5 PM, it offers local wines along with various other brands and a tap beer, also a full bar. Clean rooms.
