        My group and I left Los Angeles at 5am to drive up to Northwood Golf Club, arrived at 1:30pm. This course is absolutely beautiful. Especially in the morning when we played the next day. The conditions arent that great (rained a bit recently) but its probably difficult to deal with said conditions when the redwoods block the sun. I recommend playing early morning if you can, the fog makes for great visuals. Afternoon is great too as the sun rays peak through the redwood canopy. The redwoods are the star of the show but the people, vibe, value, and location render this a course to remember.

      Hi Raymond - we're not sure what "sesh" is so we looked it up, and we like it as it refers to golf: "a period of time spent doing a lot of an enjoyable activity." So we hope you come back and sesh again at Northwood, and thanks for letting others know what a great place Northwood is to sesh.

      Kevin,Thank you for the 5 stars and fabulous review. You are correct - we've actually received a lot of rain this winter, and that makes conditions not ideal. Maybe if you come back in the summer, you'll see the difference. And if you do, our airport in Santa Rosa has increased service across the state. Maybe you could fly up for the day or two instead of driving. Just a thought.
