I sure love working with Richard. We had a very important painting that we got from Ukraine. We needed a special frame. Richard patiently worked with us to get just the right custom frame. Since then, we have gone to Richard with simpler framing needs and have been just as happy.

Artisans has been my go to for custom framing for years. Richard is creative and does great work. I have recommended Artisans on several occasions and every person I have sent was a happy customer and have returned with other projects. You need quality framing this is the place.

Richard went above and beyond on restoring a 17th Century gun piece that had been acquired by my family decades earlier.  The guns themselves are fragile 300+ year old wood with iron firing interlays.  So just taking the old framing apart was a very delicate job.  One of the firing mechanisms had come loose over the years.  So Richard meticulously reassembled the gun and left no trace that they had ever come apart.  After restoring the guns, Richard then chose a beautiful frame and used invisible type glass so it appears there is no glass on the frame leaving the view without any distortion.  The final result was a museum level piece that leaves all who view in totally admiration!  So THANK YOU Richard for your incredible work!!!

My trip to Artisans almost cost me a lot of money!  I saved over $100.00 once I found out my photo fit my stock frame with a stock glass and stock backing. I was quoted $252.xx out the door from Artisans and I ended up getting in done in under 15 minutes at Hobby Lobby.  Do your homework before you go there.  I'll give Richard credit, he knows his stuff and he almost had me fooled. Luckily, I pulled the job once I found out it could all be done with stock material.  If anyone is interested, I'm happy to send a pic of the finished product Hobby Lobby did for me....
