I had to get a new card so myself and my four kids had to ride the bus which is about an hour ride. Finally we make it to the office at 2:15 well before closing and no one is in. Super frustrating.

I submitted an application online. A couple days later a representative called to schedule an interview. I wasn't able to answer the phone at the time so I called back the following business day. I was connected to someone but then put on hold. After 10 minutes she hung up on me. I text the WIC number but have not got a response. I ended up calling them back and after a few minutes I got a hold of someone else who actually helped me. Will update review later.

It's great to go and get wic they also offer a read program that it's aviable two times a week and you could also apply for you library card to check out books too. Wic is a nutritional program offer for everybody if you are pregnant or have a infant under the age o 5 year's old.

Super upset with this place at the moment. I received my WIC card today and along with it came this pamphlet basically stating my baby can die if I don't breastfeed. That was the ONLY piece of paperwork in there along with the card. I appreciate and know that breastfeeding is very important, but what if my body can't produce the milk? They know that I am high risk pregnant and just suffered a miscarriage and now I receive a letter stating my baby can die if I feed her formula. As if I am not going through enough stress, here I am 9 months pregnant stressing out that my baby can die from not breastfeeding her. I did call to express my concern and let them know that maybe they shouldn't put those pamphlets in there because everybody is different and the woman I spoke with was very sweet, but I just think that was crazy they did it in the first place.
