Go somewhere where they will be there for you all the way around not just when they are trying to sell!!! This place has horrible customer service! Do not recommend take your business elsewhere!

I purchased a certified MDX Hybrid last year from Acura of Modesto and noticed an error code U3003-16. I asked about the error code, and all they did was clear the code from the log. Every time I started the vehicle, the error code would show again. I brought the vehicle to their service department and was told it was just a software issue.
A week or two later, the service department called and said to bring the vehicle in for a software update. After applying the update, the error code still showed each time I started the vehicle. Again, they said it was just a software issue.
When I brought the vehicle to Acura of Pleasanton for routine service less than a year later, I mentioned the problem, and they suggested that I replace the 12 volt battery. This resolved the problem, but the 12 volt battery was no longer under warranty even though it would have been when I first purchased the CPO vehicle and for the first 3-4 months that I owned the vehicle.
I called Homer, the sales manager I worked with when originally purchasing the vehicle from Acura of Modesto, and asked if he could provide any compensation since their service department could not properly diagnose and resolve the problem. I left many voice messages without receiving a return call. I finally was able to speak to Homer after trying for about a month.
He said that he spoke to the service manager, who noted that the error code was U3003-1, even though it was actually U3003-16, and that since the battery passed the CPO inspection, he could not offer me any compensation.
A Google search for the error code mentions that it could be related to the health of the 12 volt battery. I should have mentioned this to the service department last year but (wrongly) assumed they would know how to diagnose the problem.
I very rarely post online reviews, but this experience has been so disappointing that I wanted to share.

I would not buy from Acura again because they gave me the car with bad wipers. At first they told me they could change the oil for the first time and they didn't do it either. At that time we said if we could get another car and the one there said oh No, but we would have to do the paperwork again and we couldn't because my husband's credit was just beginning since we gave 18,000 Dlls in cash.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I was surprised that one of them knew nearly every model type and features of each type of MDX when asked.
The lot has also opened up quite a bit over a few decades which is nice to see.
Also love to see the 90 Integra and newer NSX sitting next to each other in the lobby.

I just want to say that I had the best experience with Brandon and Gordon at Acura of Modesto. I purchased a used vehicle in December 2023 and a few things were noticed before purchase, such as the breaks squeaking, but after I took it home, I noticed a few other things with the vehicle that I did not notice during the test drive. I was not upset at the dealership at all because Im responsible for thoroughly looking at everything before purchasing. They contacted me to just follow up with me to make sure I was happy. I replied yes, but also told them my newer discoveries with the vehicle. Right away they offered to fix everything, even though they had no obligation to repair anything after purchase. They wanted to make sure my vehicle was everything my family needed and wanted. Im so impressed with this dealership as not only were they 100% open and honest on their side (which is rare for a dealership per my past experiences), they were also caring after my business and wanted to make sure I was taken care of. Ill definitely continue my future car purchases with this dealership when my family is ready for another vehicle.
