I like them as a property manager so far if I have a problem they usually fix it right away. They have been our managers now for at least 3years

This property management is completely unprofessional. I called to inquire about a property for rent on Leonard Ave, Modesto and was treated very poorly. When asking what I should do as I do not have a rental history, she asked VERY rudely "well why don't you have a rental history?". I understand the question and why it's being asked, but it didn't need to be made in that manor; it was incredibly inappropriate. I explained I don't have a rental history due to living at home and this would be my first place on my own. Little does she know: I was very lucky/fortunate enough to stay home while working, going to school full time, and building my credit. Now I have my career in Pleasanton and am ready to make the next step. She then told me I would be automatically denied due to me not having a rental history but encouraged me to fill out an application which costs $40 (after saying I was already going to be denied? Scam). She asked me to do this while answering the phone clearly laughing with someone, again professional. Point being, now due to her lack of professionalism she has lost a possible tenant making 5x the required rent & with impeccable credit. Thank you, I found a much better home in a much nicer apartment complex.
