do not waste your time. drags feet on getting a diagnosis, amputated part of my moms foot and when it got infected refused to treat her after. horrible doctor

I had my 1st visit to Tolboe Foot & Ankle. Dr. Paxton was professional, knowledgeable, and understood my fears and concerns. The staff was smart, kind, and helpful. I'll be continuing with their service. Thanks Tolboe Foot & Ankle

Very disappointed that I wasted time here. Went there twice. Did everything they suggested (wore a boot, got repeat xrays, made apts as they suggested). Doctor could not accurately diagnose me, was WAY off base with his differentials. Did not listen to me when I flat out told him his suggested diagnosis was wrong. Ordered repeat xrays that were a waste of time (and also not on site) and then made me come for a second apt just to tell me that the second xrays were the exact same as the first xrays (which I already knew as it was in the radiologist report), he still didn't know what was going on, and did absolutely nothing more to help me or investigate further. Furthermore, both times I was there, the front desk ladies were blatantly flirting with the doctors, did not even acknowledge my arrival or check me in until I knocked on the desk after waiting there awkwardly for several minutes waiting for someone. And they kept telling me I had no copay (even though I knew I did and was trying to pay it right then). They also had NO follow through. I called several times asking questions, asking for next steps....NOTHING. They would always promise to call me back and not ONCE did. It honestly just felt like nobody at this office was competent at their roles. A few weeks later, I went to a different podiatrist in the bay. The OTHER podiatrist diagnosed me on sight (literally just looking at my foot and asking me a few questions) within 5 minutes. Commented on what a shame it was that my previous podiatrist failed to diagnose me as now I was forced to have an invasive surgery to fix my problem that I could have avoided had I been diagnosed properly in a timely manner. Two weeks later, I had surgery with the other podiatrist and it's been a night and day different experience. Even the front desk and assistants at the other podiatrist were a dream and totally professional. I really have no other words to describe this office other than disappointing and a waste of time. There's nothing worse than seeing a doctor who can't diagnose you but also fails to admit it or refer you to someone else who can.

second time I've been here-excellent service-Dr. Paxton is really very good at what he does..makes you feel at ease while taking care of business..
