Save Mart Pharmacy

I will never get a cake from Save Mart ever again! Quarter sheet of 1-layer cake with a kit is $29.99. I could've gotten a half sheet at Safeway for the same price & tastes much better! This is BS. The employee didn't even say that there's an extra fee for the kit. It's not just the price but the service too. Disappointing.

In very general terms, the store is fine. I have two problems with the store: 1) The lack of organic and vegan options. They at one time didn't have a freezer devoted to these foods, but now it's filled with Gatorade. Hurt though I may, I cannot find them re-located to any other section. 2) Baked goods. I love baked goods - breads, pastries, cookies - you name it. Unfortunately, I've been consistently disappointed in the products this bakery puts out. Many of their "chocolate"options are instead chocolate flavored. Yuck. The cookies I've tried I've had too much sugar to even be able to appreciate the flavors of the other ingredients. I'll continue to stop in for brand-name stuff I can get anywhere if it's more convenient, but when I do my big shopping trips, I'll go elsewhere.

I am actually writing regarding the decision to discontinue the use of Shares Cards by SaveMart.I don't like the decision.I have been a customer with Save Mart since moving to the Central Valley 2 decades ago.  More importantly, my mother is a customer with Save Mart.  My mother, at 94, lives 'off the grid'.  She does not use a smart phone or have an email address.  That's right, people - there are still men and women who eschew the digital age.She can no longer donate to her favorite cause via the Shares Card issued by Save Mart.This is dumb.I understand everything is going online. I get it. However, I cannot donate to MY cause either because apparently, despite using my card for over 3 years it is not showing up on their ipad when the lovely lady tried to link my account.No Bueno.
