Horrible place. If your family has to go here, don't or visit every day to make sure they're safe. This place is abusive to patients and lies. Keep your family safe.

My friend, a military veteran, was placed in Riverview Post Acute in late October 2023 from Memorial Hospital, Modesto CA for pulmonary and physical rehab. Iam his caregiver. He called me several times pleading with me to bring him home. The food was inedible. He was intimidated by a male employee for monthly automatic debit payments. He sat on a full bedpan for several hours. I finally lost touch with him the day before he died, even though I tried in vain to reach him by phone. He was transferred from Riverview by AMR ambulance to Doctors Medical Center at 12 am where he passed away close to 2:am November 3, 2023. Riverview never contacted family or myself -until- after he had passed away an hour later of a fatal cardiac arrhythmia. I strongly do not recommend this post acute facility, especially if you are a veteran. They do not accept Tri West VA insurance. This is not a VA authorized rehab. All messages and phone calls between the patient and caregiver were documented and saved.
