Usually I have had good experiences here but on July 10th 2019, I had the terrible experience of having Dr. Kao perform my sons physical and vaccinations...except he didnt. When explaining my son had only ever received vaccines at this location and that his records were all in their system he weaseled his way out of the patient room saying Ill look into it like a coward to only have his nurse tell me he wasnt going to allow him to get his current 2 month previously scheduled appt vaccines. After complaining to the receptionists about it, they did look into it and verified that my sons shot records were readily available. I was frustrated and requested to have his vaccines performed by another doctor and they spoke to a Supervisor who told them they would make sure my son was vaccinated during this visit. After fuming in the waiting room for over an hour and my kids crying as weve been here for well over two hours while accomplishing nothing, we left. The staff here is great but Dr. Kao lacks the ability to communicate with and understand his patients concerns which in itself makes him unfit to treat others. He literally pretended to be concerned and instead immediately sent in a nurse to tell us to leave because he lacked the ability to do so himself.
