    I'm physically disabled so my husband booked an accessible room at this hotel in advance in order to ensure me being able to have access and to save money by booking early. When we checked in they had no accessible rooms available despite us reserving the room so far in advance. We had to get a different room at a different hotel that was significantly more expensive because it wasn't booked in advance. They treated my reservation for an accessible room as a special request instead of my legal right to accessibile accommodations as a disabled person. The lady at the front desk was very kind and apologetic through this hardship for my husband and I.

    If I could take away a star for everything wrong with this hotel wed be below the 1 star mark. I dont leave bad reviews before attempting to make things right. However, after several days have passed and an empty promise from Catherine at the front desk, a manager has yet to reach out to make things right. My friends and I booked a room for a one week stay. After realizing they were not up to par with the fire code and safety regulations, they were bug infested, paint was chipping, bed wear was torn, ripped, dirty and exposed mattress foam, broken entry door, out of order guest laundry room, a visible dirty/moldy ice machine and loud train noises day and night so bad they provide ear plugs we all decided to check out early. Upon checking out, Catherine assisted me. She was very friendly and asked how she could help. I politely and calmly stated we would like to check out of our room because we found 2 roaches and that was just one of many things. Catherine responded with oh Im so sorry, Ill get you checked out. After she told me okay youre all set I asked her if there was a manager I could speak with because my concerns arent just a dirty room or something simple and Catherine didnt seem to be sorry at all other than allowing me to check out. Catherine said she would leave a note and have a higher up call us to explain how we would get our refund and that they should be calling us the following day. I waited more than the following day, still to no avail. My 2 main concerns were that the fire alarm was covered with plastic and Im assuming thats to prevent it from going off if smoke is detected and the roaches. NOTHING should be blocking the fire alarm to prevent it from going off and I should not have to pay for an entire room if Im sharing it with roaches. I didnt invite them in. Catherine said the hotel managers name is Stella but they deal with the supervisor named Tonya. Neither Tonya or Stella have reached out to us. I would really hate to go further with this, so Im hoping by leaving this review, a higher up will respond to me with something other than we will bring this up at our next meeting. That is not good enough Baymont. If thats the response youre going to give me, I would personally like to be apart of said meeting and express and present the photos and concerns that I have with an attorney present. Included as a part of this review are some photographs showing the condition of our room. If this is taken care of in a timely manner I am in agreement to remove this review. Otherwise the truth about your establishment will stay posted, and a civil lawsuit will be public record anyways. If youre reading this review and dare to risk a stay here, please stay far away from room 107. You have been warned.

    BEWARE: I should have paid more attention to the earplugs made available at the front desk. Terrible location next to onramp and railroad. Bedding had holes and stains. Yuck.
