John Sturdevant Realtor

We were already talking with another broker for the near future sale of our home (he'd come to our house twice already), but when I spoke with John Sturdevant the first time through our neighbor's open house, he offered to come by and peak at our house to see how it compared to his listing. When he came in, we spoke of our intentions for prepping our house for sale, and he had a solution for every issue we had that was delaying our sale. He offered a great deal to list our house (didn't push for higher commission like other realtors I'd spoken to), and immediately began providing contact with amazing contractors, a stager (free consultation), and got us a great carpet cleaning guy (our carpets looked brand new after). The difference between John and the other realtor was huge. John solved every problem we'd been stressing over for months regarding our house, and offered us a great deal to list without being pushy at all. I felt bad about ditching the other realtor, but the other guy seemed more concerned about increasing his commission to pay for his "high end photographer" and to get us boxes to start moving (ie. get him paid asap), while not helping to solve any of our issues in even getting to the point to list (ie. desired changes/upgrades we felt would improve our sale price, and they definitely did). In the end, we got top dollar for our house in a market that was already turning unfriendly, and we are certain that it was because of the above and beyond help we got from John Sturdevant.

John Sturdevant is the realtor you want to make your dreams come true. For over two years my husband and I were looking to get into a community we wanted to make our forever home. He questioned me as to exactly what I was looking for and kept in constant contact whenever something became available. In order to describe John as a realtor, I need to provide a little background information about myself. I am probably the most meticulously anal person in the world. I expect perfection and always end up doing well whatever it takes to reach it. John was someone I could trust after interviewing several realtors. I wanted a realtor who was intelligent. Someone who works confidently under pressure and someone who new financials and construction. So many realtors these days have zero knowledge and regurgitate Redfin trends. John knows the market, he knows construction, and he has every single possible contact- lender, contractors, designers, cleaners, etc. and he is extremely creative in his work. I used John for a difficult purchase (hot market) as well as for selling my property. Look- agents essentially charge the same commission- why would you have a subpar realtor represent you for the same cost? I don't normally write reviews outside of Yelp, but wanted to write this one because John is someone I will use continually in the future.
