I had really bad luck hiring Agent Eric Chang to be my Property Manager for 2 properties I own. He would hire handymen/contractors/whoever for repairs without quotes/estimates in the beginning and without my consent and would break parts of the agreement we made when I hired him to be my Property Manager. Anytime I would confront him with a question or concern, he would respond back to me with a disrespectful attitude and just very unprofessional. He also has withheld funds from one of my properties without my permission to pay for something for my other property. The commingling of my two properties accounts is unacceptable and lots time without right proof of invoice / receipts and always I have to be surprised by an unexpected amount of receipt or invoice afterwards the job is done. Eric has a hard time working with the owner (who pays him) and instead works against owner and fights with owner on everything.
It was a disaster to hire him and the worst experience. He is not ethical or professional! I would never recommend using him if your looking for a Property Manager!.
If you did hired Eric Chang as your property manager then your nightmare starts.
Eric Chang is a bad person, bad property manager and has bad personality and bad attitude.
