Sonesta Silicon Valley

I was very pleasantly surprised by our stay. I had never heard of Sonesta before so I wasnt sure what to expect. Our entire stay has been wonderful. The staff have been very nice and helpful (especially the lady that works the restaurant). The room was modern, updated and very clean. The pool was great. All of this for a good value too! Honestly I dont know how this hotel has not 5 stars. Super clean, comfy, the rooms are big, wireless charger on nightstands I left a 1 star review on Sonesta LAX but this hotel is the opposite. My husband and I really enjoyed this hotel!

Stayed two nights. Noticed on the first night that the carpet was soaked next to the bed and up against an exterior wall. The next morning when I left for the day, no one was at the front desk to ask for a new room or for it to be dried but I was lucky enough to receive a pleasant text message from Sonesta asking how my stay was going - I left feedback regarding the wet carpet. 12 hours later upon return for my last night, nothing was done to correct the issue. Upon check out, the young man at the counter didnt care to ask how my stay was. Ive traveled the world, stayed in quite a few places. I tend to look over the minor stuff, but its a serious issue when the staff isnt responsive to customer complaints or asking how my stay was. Stayed two nights.
