Phan Hoangyen DDS

I'm typically with another dentist closer to San Jose but I found out this week she will be on leave for an undisclosed amount of months and her messaging system referred her patients to Dr. Phan.  I discovered some weird dark redness on my gums which flossing and brushing didn't clear up and contacted Dr. Phan. She was able to fit me in quickly. During the visit, both she and her staff were extremely prompt, professional and courteous. Everyone was just super kind. My gum since scheduling pretty much got better but I did take a picture of what happened and showed the Dentist. She was able to diagnose what most likely caused the issue, helped clear up my gum area quickly and painlessly. No one looooves going to the dentist right? But this place made the visit very pleasant.

Dr. Yen has been my family dentist for over the past 5 years, and I couldn't ask for a better one! Prior to this, I hated going to the dentist, but she makes going to the dentist less nerve-wracking. All of her staff is very kind, helpful, and attentive. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a family dentist!

The best family dentist in town. She is gentle and care. An emergency appointment is always available. Appointments are reminded on time so we wont be late for routine care. Great service from front desk to back office. We have her as family dentist for 16 years.

Dr. Hoang-Yen is my family/childhood dentist and the best one I have ever known. I would say the term "kind and gentle" definitely describes her best, and I see it is commonly used in the other Yelp reviews. I also do not recall her office ever upselling my family for unnecessary services. Neither my sibling or I ever got braces and our teeth grew out fine. I no longer live in the area, but would travel across the Bay if my dental plan covered it. Highly recommended

Dr. Yen has been my family dentist for over the past 5 years, and I couldn't ask for a better one! She's very attentive and makes you less scared of going to the dentist. The same goes to all of her staff -- they are all very helpful. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a family dentist!
