very solid spot for some delicious shanghainese food! came here on a weekday lunch with a large group of coworkers and the staff was very easy and willing to accommodate us with no notice. dishes came out fast, and all were tasty, with a few major standoutsthe fish filet, fried tofu, and the lions head meatballs were some of my favorites. would definitely come here again to satisfy my nostalgic chinese food cravings :).

Ordered a few items but the Braised Pork with Preserved Vegetables was not good. The pork had the texture of cardboard or tree bark and the preserved veggies had bark like texture so they did not cut the tough parts from the veggies when they made it. I would not recommend that dish.

Braised pork with preserved vege is such a disappointment. The pork is like dry timber. The preserved vege is overcooked, or not fresh. $20 go down the drain. I would give a zero star if it is an option.
