J. Wavro Associates' sales and leasing agent Jennifer Hamamura was exceptionally pleasant and easy to work with. She show me the apartment I was interested in and answered all my questions quickly explaining in detail the application process in understandable terms. During the process she responded to any questions I had quickly. From start to finish I was able to rent my new apartment in only 2 and a half days. She was terrific, I couldn't be happier!

We worked with Alex Kaufman to find a rental at Metropolitan. To start with, he  had an attitude talking on the phone, and it was confusing who's the client who's the realtor. Many times we had to follow up and chase him down so he would reply to our messages. It seemed he didn't want to rent the unit to us, and would use strange excuses such as the landlord wouldn't want to wait an extra few weeks for us to move in and we need to pay rent a lot sooner, while the unit was in the market for several months.Overall the worst and most unfriendly realtor experience I had in the last 20 years.Luckily we found a much better owner-rented condo unit at another highrise.

Shane Nugent is excellent! We worked with Shane during the pandemic in 2021. He is very responsive, responsible, intelligent and efficient.  He secured great tenants for our rental place in San Francisco in record time. We highly recommend him. Don't think twice. Just call and ask for Shane.

Not good experience so far. Email communication to some of my questions came a across as demeaning. Process to pay the deposit and key hand off was not made easy for the tenant. The miscommunication of where responsibilities end for j Wavro has led to tension with my landlord. Try to avoid this company if you can or know that you will need to contact the owner to confirm any details for the unit (e.g. straightforward habitable items)This is a third party which will not necessarily have all information for the unit. My goal is to use yelp as a platform to share my experience and alert  other renters, be aware of the risks of utilizing a third party leasing company. I have to give them credit that the process was fast and the leasing agent was trying to help, but processes will need to be improved for a company that postulates that their priority is to provide good service. Company is pushing me to put the review down but consumers need to be aware. Any reputable company will be open to criticism and improvement of services and freedom of speech is one of basic, pure, and  fundamental rights of the first Amendment and needs to be celebrated.
