Hampton Inn & Suites Merced

There are homeless individuals in their parking lot all the time. My rental vehicle was broken into, and my company property was stolen. The security guard was worthless. The manager at the hotel did not help with anything. It was mentioned by the front desk agent that break-in's happen there frequently. Safety: Not safe Noteworthy details: Your vehicle will get broken into!

This shabby hotel dares to be called Hilton. It is really embarrassing for Hilton and has downgraded it. Even motels worth tens of dollars in the United States are better than it. All of them have negative reviews. Dont stay here, close the door quickly

Rooms: Small rooms AC motor making lots of noise, 75.00 bucks for a pet. Won't be back.

This place is a dump. $115 rate might not be bad but when you add $75 pet fee that's over the top. I've never had to pay that much even at a 5 star.

The room was nice, roomy, and clean. I was able to park by a side entrance and enter/exit through there with my room card, which made it easy to come and go without having to walk farther or take the elevator. Breakfast was good. It's also included with the stay, so that's always a plus. They had biscuits and gravy one morning. Hash browns, eggs, and sausage another morning. Every morning, there was always coffee, juices, waffles, muffins, toast, and cereal to choose from as well. I wont recommend walking anywhere after dark or going alone. There is a lot of homeless with mental illness hanging around the area. During the day it wasnt so bad. A lot of shopping stores and restaurants are about 15 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Merced. Rooms: Suite with a California King Bed (I think, it was HUGE). A pull out couch bed, a little kitchenette, bathroom and small dinning table. And coffee table.
