Hotel Nia, Autograph Collection

Hotel Nia is a beautiful hotel and I've stayed there many times, but with approximately half my stays my Marriott points don't get credited and/or they don't send my invoice so I have to follow up manually, which is a huge pain to have to track.

Lovely decor and super friendly staff. The food is fantastic and the pool was great. A bit of freeway noise outside but couldn't hear it in the room.

The staff was absolutely great. I loved everything at the hotel. So I inquired about other properties. The general manager Marsha was lovely, impressive, and a genuine spirit. Special thanks to Charlene at the front desk. She was very helpful and polite. Rooms: If you love contemporary with pops of color and the lighting is perfect. There wasn't a thing missing!! Beds are also comfortable for a good nights rest. Nearby activities: This is located in a business park and several car dealerships where nearby. Safety: You will want to valet and may want to walk alone from the self parking garage it's not attached. Walkability: Not recommended car is needed Food & drinks: Loved the coffee and breakfast. The dinner and lunch, the presentations are great but lacking in taste for the cost. Area for dining and drinks have more than one area for seating. It can accommodate more than one mood in different areas

Central to Meta/Facebook, this is in the heart of Menlo Park. So much to like about this hotel but there are some things that hampered my stay. PRO: - I love Leilani! She worked hard to get me a great room and I appreciate that effort as it helped enhance the stay 10x. - Rooms have a colorful feel, very unique - Beautiful grounds, I mean, just jaw dropping! You'd never guess you're right beside the highway when you are in this oasis - Pool is sparkling. - We enjoyed some lawn bowling and bean bag toss Strolling here you see a lot of whimsy like a rabbit here, a crane there! - They will provide a microwave on demand. - Free spring water from Rocky Mountains. - Great weekend rates (Silicone Valley is busy on weekdays not weekends) CON: - Like another reviewer, the fan blew on our face ALL night and would not turn off. If we turned it off, room got way too hot which is strange since this is a newer property? (2018). Couldn't sleep. - Unfortunately the bathroom had very poor water pressure. That's pretty important to me. - Restaurant is not good, makes you tip automatically 20%, if you ask them to take it off (for takeout) it will result in a bad attitude - Expensive on the weekdays SUMMARY: I would stay here for a mini vacation on the grounds. Pool, lovely oasis of a manicured outdoor space is definitely vacation worthy. But there's not much more in the area but Meta/Facebook. Menlo Park is a bit of a boring city.

I dropped off some clients there the other day. I told them they were in for a treat. As soon as they walked in they were offered a flute of sparkling wine. It went up from there.
