Marina Massage

The masseuse was constantly trying to upsell me. I was asked 4 times over the course of my massage if I wanted to add hot stones, each time in a progressively more pushy manner... The whole point of a massage is to feel relaxed, but it was impossible to relax when I'm constantly being made to feel guilty for not upgrading. Additionally, when I went to check out, I tried to tip 20% (despite not being super satisfied with the massage due to the attempted upselling) & was told that that was not enough tip... I again got guilted into tipping 35%... 35% tip for a massage I did not enjoy. Partially my fault for not resisting the guilt trips, but I definitely will not go back knowing the tricks they'll pull.

My wife and I went for a massage last nicer. The male massage therapist was great and when it came to tipping, my wife tipped 20% for him and he was very grateful. I had a female massage therapist massage therapist and when I came to pay she immediately said the massage is $71 how much tip??. Firstly, thats very rude. If tipping is voluntarily, dont ask so abruptly, just let the customer know theres an option. I said 20%, which I felt was very generous. She said oh this is not like a restaurant where you do 20%, how about $20?. I was speechless. I said no thanks Ill do 20% please. She continued to argue with me and my wife that this wasnt like a restaurant and the minimum tip was usually $25-$35. Very very awkward and uncomfortable. If you NEED 35%-50% then your prices are wrong and artificially deflated. Needless to say I paid 20% and somehow walked out of there feeling guilty for providing a 20% tip. I will not be back.

Had a massage and it was fantastic. The masseuse Yuki was wonderful. Very clean, professional, and relaxing overall. Booking with Yuki was easy and reliable. Highly recommend.

This place ROCKS its clean, upscale, affordable and the massage was truly fantastic. They have an intake form where you can specify your preferences about pressure and areas. The massage was one of the best Ive had in LA. This is absolutely going to be my spot I highly recommend.
