Rockefeller - Manhattan Beach

This was my first time here and i was exactly to try it after a long walk on the beach. I walked in and was seated right away. I was told a server would be right with me. The restaurant was more than half empty and the servers were walking around doing what looked to be nothing. I gave them an opportunity to serve me and 15 minutes they still failed to be of service. Another party came in and waited half the time I did and guess what? They were served. So I got up and walked out. I hate to mention the color of my skin but I have a strong feeling that's why I wasn't acknowledged at all. Not cool at all.

Wad told the wait would be 20 mins. With 1 person in front of us. Open app confirms. Table was given to others over us. Feel discriminated. Will not support.

Menu has changed. Ceviche here was good, but no longer available. Ahi tacos are hugely disappointing; the tortillas are cold and doughy

This is a busy beach area restaurant. Friday and Saturday nights are trendy crowds. I made reservations and was seated immediately. Ashleigh B was our server and she was attentive. She checked to see if we needed anything and how our meal. She also suggested the news cocktail for st. Patricks Day, the toasted grasshopper martini . This is a minty drink. I ordered the honey glaze salmon with rice and broccoli. My salmon and rice were tasty but the broccoli lacked flavor. The Cesar salad with grilled chicken was tasty. This restaurant has large patio with heaters and TVs. We came for happy hour and to watch March Madness. Parking on Fridays and Saturdays can be a challenge. All of the parking is meter parking. It gets crowded fast. Heres a tip. Sundays parking is free. Parking: Sundays party is free
