Sierra Meadows Ranch

Great place to stay if you have a dog, like great views, like your privacy with no shared walls and like nature and hiking This is one of the last nicest places to stay in Mammoth that still feels like how Mammoth was 20-30 years ago. I loved this place! The old Hayden Museum Homestead is just a couple hundred yards away so you can walk right down to it with your dog off leash morning or evening when it is closed to the public. My dog just loved wading and swimming in Mammoth Creek and playing on the huge lawn there. Where else in Mammoth can you do this? And for those that like nature and want a REAL long hike, the trail heads are in walking distance just right across the street to Mammoth Rock and Kerry Meadow. And Sherwin Lakes Trailhead is just up the road only 5 minutes away for a nice half day hike. It is great in the fall with fall color and hardly any people on the trail. If you like real wildflowers and nature, this is the place for you. You are on the edge of a meadow and wildflowers are everywhere. The sound if the wind and creeks sure beats car noise and congestion in central Mammoth. The nice thing about this location is you are within walking distance of shopping and great places to eat like Distant Brewing and the Vons Shopping Center. This place even has its own restaurant for night dining if you dont want to walk far. If you are going with more than two people I would recommend the unit that has a loft which you can use for putting skis and large clothing and bags. Usually, the two or three cabins that are available in the spring and summer are the ones with NO DECK that nobody wants, since the deck has the view. Somebody should grab a hammer and some wood and build nice big decks on Lonsdale, McGee and Crowley$$$. Nobody wants to rent a cabin with a dark mud room and NO view. They would like to sit and drink coffee in the morning or have drinks in the evening on a nice deck with railing and an unbelievable view.

Was married here, and our wedding party stayed in all the cabins. they were extremely accommodating, extremely kind and informative. 100% would recommend this place every single time. And not to mention the views are so beautiful and youre a walk from town.

We stayed at Sierra Meadows Ranch for our first time recently. This location is so beautiful and very close to the mountain still. Canyon lodge is about a 10 min drive. You cant beat the Mountain views at this ranch!! There are also trails here that we really enjoyed taking our dog for a walk on. The restaurant also on the property is delicious. We will absolutely be back!!

I found Sierra Meadows Ranch to be a very unique and wonderful visitation experience. I would absolutely stay here again.
