Best of New Zealand Fly Fishing

Was a wonderful experience.. The lodging and food were excellent. The company was enjoyable. Ann the owner was delightful. This is a working sheep ranch, the day we were there they weaned the ewes. What a racket but quiet in my room. Most importantly the fishing was spectacular, caught the biggest brown trout of my life. Would highly recommend.

Without the Best of New Zealand, I wouldnt know where to start on planning, and they made it seamless. From tour to trout guides, they have aligned themselves with the best of the best. Poronui, especially, is an unimaginable experience. I plan on visiting New Zealand again, and if able I will seek Mike and his teams help in scheduling another dream trip. The country speaks for itself, but NZ Best allows you to experience such a remarkable location, to the fullest; regardless, of how long you stay. Great memories. Thanks Guys, Ross

This last February my wife and I took our son and his pregnant wife to the South Pacific and had a marvelous time. Everything worked seamlessly. The accommodations were the best. Couldnt have been better. On this trip we concentrated on touring the North Island and loved it. My son and I only fished one day and it was spectacular. Sixteen fish! And the beauty of NZ is the size of the fish. A day to remember! We toured Wellington, Napier and the surrounding wineries, the Lake Taupo area and Rotorua. A highlight was riding inner tubes through the glow worm caves. After NZ we flew to the Cook Islands , specifically Aitutaki. There, we enjoyed the sun before heading back to damp Oregon. We did go fishing one day and caught giant trevally, wahoo and ahi. Love Aitutaki. As I said, Best of NZ gave us a six star trip.

Best of New Zealand Fly Fishing is the best choice I could have ever made for booking the trip of a lifetime! From day one Mike and Eta worked with me to maximize my budget to get the most out of every second in New Zealand. They answered every email in a timely matter and gave me so much information that I had a complete calm going on this trip. They even answered emails and calls throughout the trip to make sure everything was going well. Being paired up with Mark for a guide was one of the best experiences of my life!! He was professional, smart and great company to have in the backcountry for 5 days! He went so far as to pick me up from the airport and introduce me to the locals. Most importantly for anyone reading this, he put me on fish (the biggest fish of my life, all 23"+) from the time we started until the time we were picked up. The guiding was by far the best I have ever experienced and has set the standard. Best of New Zealand Fly Fishing made all this happen and I can't wait to go on another trip.
