The Last House on Mulholland, Presented by L.A. Explained

This is a great view for photos of the Hollywood Sign after an easy walk from Innsdale Trailhead. This is open all day long, not the posted hours. It's a public right of way and trail. You can park free curbside all day 24/7 on Innsdale Drive, Tahoe, or Lake Hollywood Drive right next to Innsdale Trailhead. Then take Innsdale dirt Trail up to a left on Mulholland and next left to stay on Mulholland through auto barriers to Last House on Mulholland. (all this is legal) If you want to go farther then bear to your RIGHT at Smokey Bear Sign onto dirt trail. Take dirt trail all the way around to the Mt Lee Drive Green Gate and walk up paved Mt Lee Road to see front and top of the Hollywood Sign. Mt Lee Drive is open Sunrise to Sunset for entrance. (You have to be out of Griffith Park which surrounds Sign by 10:30Pm). If you don't need parking, take an Uber/Lyft to 6100 West Muholland Highway La CA 90068 corner of Ledgewood and walk up Mulholland to Last House on Mulholland. (The blockades are to stop cars not hikers.)

Delighted with the Hollywood sign and being able to get to the best view. It is a little difficult to get to since there is no parking place nearby. We were lucky because we parked right in a place where only 2 or three vehicles could fit and then we could continue walking up for about 500 meters. The entire road to get there is very narrow, almost two vehicles do not pass. But it was worth it! Very few people.
