Fanstastic selection, fair prices. I found two amazing tiles by Cepac there, comparison shopped at stores and online, and United tile was the lowest priced by 6 dollars a square ft. Really lovely staff as well. This is my second renovation using them and I will keep coming back!

Wanted to work with United Tile based on Yelp reviews. Met Irvin in May when we were researching tile shops. He never left his office to talk to us, so I went in to ask questions. Per Irvin, it usually takes 3-7 days to get most tile, and we confirmed the tile line I want, Keystone from Dal-Tile, fell within that range. We returned in September to order tile. When we go in, Irvin doesn't greet us, nor does he really leave the office (on all three visits). I go get the tile samples and bring them to him. He makes calls and gets the tile confirmed to deliver within 7-10 days (I understand supply chain issues, etc.). On the following Monday, I call to check on status of tile order. Irvin says he'll check and call me back, but no call. The next morning, I call Irvin only to learn the tile was on a pallet that fell off a forklift and broke somewhere between shipping from Texas to Ontario, Ca. Irvin says he'll make it right by helping me find similar tile. We drive to Glendale to find other Keystone tile (Made in US, high matte unglazed finish) only to leave with a sample of a tile from a different line I later learn was once made in China before it was discontinued and is now made in Thailand. Irvin didn't have a spec sheet available, but he did find something online to send me that said it was not to be used on shower floors. He insisted it was fine for wet areas until I note what the spec sheet indicates. I call and ask Irvin to find other Keystone tiles that might work, and we find one together. He makes the call, confirms it can be shipped to arrive in 3 days, and we are good to go. Then, we get a call a day later from Irvin saying the "store" refuses to send the tile to Ontario and that Keystone is a problematic vendor. They have a hard time getting tile from them. In the end, Irvin refunds our money. Something to consider: if Keystone is problematic, UT should have informed me of that upfront, and shouldn't have Keystone tile samples on the floor. All tile should have spec sheets, especially when selling tile from multiple sources. I don't expect Irvin to remember every tile and its appropriate application. I do expect supporting documents. Our experience with Irvin and United Tile was disappointing and frustrating. If I didn't continue to reach out to him, I wouldn't have gotten updates. The worst part is him saying my choosing the Keystone line is the reason it is hard to find replacement tile. In addition, I ordered 1" tile (reflected on our order form), and Irvin wanted to replace with 2" tile that was available. He said it was only 1/2" larger than the original order, which he believed was 1 1/2" tile. This suggests a lack of attention to our order, and truly reflects our entire experience with United Tile where we seemed to work harder to get service than any customer should. A quick check of their web-site suggests something is t right at United Tile. Never again.

We live in Atwater Village, very close to United Tile (behind the Staples on San Fernando) and so the business appeared in my google search. (All great reviews except one or two down- IGNORE that one - we were so happy we did) At United Tile, you will find a beautiful showroom, tiles from all over including some beauties from Spain, Morocco and Mexico. We are working with Irvin and he's been a great resource and wealth of information. Thanks.

What a wonderful experience . It was like going to a museum where you could buy the paintings. The tiles are from as far away as Spain and an endless selection. The salesperson, Irvin, was knowledgeable and very entertaining. It was a lovely way to go shopping; knowing that United Tiles will grace our home is thrilling.
