Dyson & Womack defrauded my art fabrication business, Barnacle Bros., of my final payment of $21,000. My arts company completed a highly lauded stone artwork which is featured on their website. Yet they claimed that the artwork was unsatisfactory, apparently as an opportunity to renege on their contractual obligation for final payment. They showed no interest in providing information about their decision and stonewalled any further negotiation. If you are an artist, fabricator or a vendor, beware of their business practice and make sure that you are paid in full before they receive deliverables.
Better yet, steer clear of this group entirely. There are plenty of other more reputable and community conscious organizations.

We maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship for our clients and the artists we work with. Unfortunately, this fabricator, who was jointly commissioned with the artist, did not complete the work they had been contracted to complete and was unwilling to address the concerns about quality brought to the table by the artist. We will continue to work towards a good-faith resolution with the fabricator at any point if they reach back out to re-engage in dialogue about the work. Dyson & Womack support large-scale works of art through management, fabrication, and commissioning, including addressing and navigating difficult conversations about longevity, quality, and aesthetics.
