I had a DMX procedure in June and after searching I came across Dr Sherman he performed the DIEP flap surgery and had good review so I made an appointment to see him while I was still going thru radation ..
He told me to come back in 6 months and we would see how my skin was doing. . When I came back he said OK let's get you scheduled for surgery..
So I called the surgery line and that's when I was told my insurance had denied my claim ..
After Long phone calls and multiple phone calls my insurance gave me the Ok ..
Well I have called repeatedly and left messages for Michelle (who my Insurance reps talked to ) she will not call me back no communication NOTHING .....
Months and hours on the phone and time lost
So I guess if it's not an easy swipe of your insurance card they don't catre.care..
Now I'm searching for another surgeon and waisted 7 months ..
Dr seemed amazing he needs better staff .

Dr. Randolph Sherman is a very special plastic surgeon that Reconstructed my right ankle after a very difficult infection to the bone. Dr. Sherman and his team has help me in the beginning process of the healing of my right ankle. He and his team is helping me go through a very difficult time in my life. They are very personable answered many of my questions . They allow me take part in the process of my healing. Very down to earth doctor that made having plastic surgery more understandable. Im going step-by-step during the process has helped me to understand more and explain more to those that has to change dressings each day. Dr. Sherman and Dr. Maxwell Johnson answer many of my questions. They let me vent my fears each step of the way. I appreciate the plastic surgery team with Dr. Shermans guidance they all have a good bedside manner. I appreciate them letting me be able to vent ask questions and help with even lift my leg as they change the dressings each time. I would recommend this team any time if you have to have plastic surgery. Thank you very much for helping me learn a different part of a healing process in my body. Ive had multiple surgeries this was the hardest one to deal with. Thank you again may God continue to bless each one of you as you serve the community during this pandemic time.
