This clinic, and staff, are the definition of excellence for pediatric therapy. When my son was diagnosed with torticollis and referred to physical therapy we were terrified. Our first day at LAIPT took all of that worry away. Everyone in the clinic made us feel comfortable and Ms. Shannon talked to us honestly about his course of treatment. He was in PT for 6 months and it was an exceptional experience. With everything he learned, and what was taught to us, he hit all of his milestones right on schedule and his skills were off the charts. Something we could have never taught him as first time parents. If anyone is referred to pediatric therapy, please consider LAIPT and Ms Shannon. It's a fantastic clinic with amazing therapists.

We have been coming to LAIPT for our son for 5 months (OT with Rachel and PT with Shannon), and could not recommend it enough. Our son started at LAIPT with some sensory concerns and gross motor and motor planning delays, but has transformed since starting therapy. He has much better regulation, attention span, and body strength, and his motor planning has improved tremendously - I no longer worry he's going to run into walls or fall off things. All of this improvement we owe to our wonderful team at LAIPT.Maxine is also wonderful and works with us to make sure everything fits into our kiddos busy therapy schedule. The space is wonderful as well - very clean, and each therapy room is spacious and filled with so much great equipment and toys. The PT space is a literal gym and our son loves going there because it's basically a playground for him.

What an amazing and caring place. We saw Dr. Eva and she was wonderful, kind, caring, and sweet and evaluating. Such a friendly and sweet office and it was very easy to make an appointment.

My son had a transformative experience here, we can't thank LAIPT enough! My son actually started going here pretty late at 2.5 years old, non-verbal and having no exposure to English. Within a short 1.5 months of speech and OT he was a totally changed person. He began speaking, learning English, and personality-wise much calmer and better at following directions. He especially loved and bonded with his speech therapist Ms. Madalyn Petrovich and his OT group leader Ms. Rachel Gaughenbaugh. But the whole team was amazing a well, all the teachers were dedicated and attentive. The office manager Ms. Maxine was always super responsive and accommodating with our schedule changes, even after hours. Dr. Pokras also was wonderful and gave us great advice on what to do as parents. Location-wise the rooms are bright and pleasant, the parking is easy to secure as well. You've got plenty of metered parking spots right in front of the building and plenty of free street parking if you don't mind walking 5-10 minutes. Don't hesitate to send your children here, you won't be disappointed!

LAIPT was recommended by my child's pediatrician office. The staff at my sons doctor office spoke highly of the services etc... I took my son for his initial evaluation, I was running behind our scheduled appointment due to traffic. So when we arrived front desk rep along with the OT that due to us running late my sons evaluation would now be broken in a two sessions. I had no problem with that, as I respect time management etc.. so the front desk rep asked if I was able to complete the packet I informed her no and she handed me a clip board with the new patient doc's to complete. I had no problem with that, so I go in the room with my son and the OT provider. And being that my son is on the spectrum he ended up having a pretty intense meltdown episode. So myself and the OT both agreed it would be best to reschedule. So this is where my frustration went to an all time high. As me and my son were leaving the room the front desk rep mentioned I still needed to complete this page of the documents for new patient. Mind you my son is still in complete meltdown mode. So I tell her I can't I point to my son whose at a 10 in his meltdown and I go I can't complete it at the moment I'll take care of it during the next appointment or send it via email. She goes no I need you to fill it out now or I won't be able to schedule your son's next appointment. I looked at her and said fine, she shrugged her shoulders and said ok. I was appalled at her level of insensitivity her failure to notice the urgency of me needing to leave the office ASAP to assist my son during his meltdown. The lack of unawareness, to place the needs of completing paperwork vs. me taking care of my kid who at the moment was not in a great place. I was completely disgusted with her to say the least. Especially working in a office that supports kids not just on the spectrum but possibly special needs etc... so the fact she couldn't for a moment make a human decision and make an exception due to the nature of the situation honestly turned me off. I decided not to move forward with taking my son due to this incident.
