This practice routinely screws up my prescription refills which is costly and very inconvenient. It's a wonder they haven't been sued for malpractice (maybe they have?), as I'm sure I'm not the only patient they've done this to.

Seem like nice enough people but absolutely impossible to see them in anything approaching a reasonable amount of time not will they be at all helpful over the phone. No sense of urgency or respect for their patients/clients time

If you would like to get ignored, get overcharged and basically treated like a paycheck instead of a person this is the perfect place for you to go. I have had non-stop issues with trying to get additional information on my bill, and the office has ignored me for over 3 months, and the billing office won't provide me any additional information nor answer my emails.

Honestly I would love to give this clinic a better rating. Amy Shapiro is an excellent pediatrician, but good luck getting an appointment with her. Generally there's a 2-month wait for an appointment. Pediatric appointments are uncommonly available when a one-off issue comes up. The front desk is brisley and uncaring, usually sending me to some one off urgent care because there's no availability to see their own patients. There simply isn't enough room in the schedule to build a strong, consistent relationship with your caregiver. Honestly I've simply stopped calling this clinic if the kids need to be seen the same week and head to urgent care instead. I never once had this experience at our clinic in Seattle. They always found a way to fit us in and take care of our family and a timely and understanding way. I understand this is a business but medicine deals with the most intimate parts of a person's physiology and the fact that it's impossible to build a relationship with a pediatric doctor because they're not available is tough on my kids. Regarding my own care, I was experiencing a lot of symptoms which I came in for and reiterated during my physical. I went on a summer trip expecting for a call back with my results, which I never received. I also never received a message in MyChart. I assumed everything was fine and went about my business on my summer vacation. However, my symptoms reached a critical mass and I rushed to another doctor on my trip for care. It turns out the blood results from my physical had turned up an issue which needed to be dealt with right away. I never even received a courtesy call. Honestly, at this point if you're not willing to give me a call with my concerning blood results (a follow-up phone call to let me know I'm okay if nothing's wrong is also great--again relationship building), or even send me a message MyChart, how am I supposed to trust you? How am I supposed to develop a trusted relationship with said doctor? I've had really bad results seeing doctors in Los Angeles. I've been through a lot medically over the last 5 years and make that clear in my visits. When a doctor suggests low mold coffee as a solution to your symptoms, which end up serious per your blood work, the word quack comes to mind. This clinic has some caring individuals, but at the end of the day I've lost trust that this clinic can provide me my family proper, timely sympathetic medical care. Los Angeles is a notoriously hard city to receive quality care in. I suggest Cedar-Sinai for better care and communication.
