Rhe drs and nurses are very good but their service is horrible because it takes up up too weeks for them to see you and make and book an appointment even if u are sick or not feeling well really bad and they dont open up Saturdays which sucks even more cause the community and many others relys on that locaion they should hire more ppl and so they can attend everyone that needs to be seen especially the walk in that's need care asap hopefully they see this and

My boyfriend and I called today in the morning so he can get a Covid test as he needs a doctors note in order to go back to work. So we called and they told us they had an opening at 1:20pm at the Boyle heights Alta med which is off of Rowan and whittier. So we arrive and we walk in and go to the receptionist thats on the second window as soon as you walk in. So she attempts to check us in and then proceeds to tell us that we cannot take the Covid test just like that, apparently now we need a doctors order in order to get the test done. (Why would they schedule us @1:20 without the doctors note then?) So she tells us that our other option is to drive to urgent care in commerce. So we came to the altamed urgent care here in commerce and they told us that the lady we spoke to in the second window lied to us. That she was misinformed. So now my boyfriend is getting his Covid test without the doctors order like we were first told to since the beginning. Please make sure front desk is properly informed on protocols and whats needed for a Covid test. Because that was a waste of our time and gas.
