Horrible experience. It took months to get the everything installed so that the machine was usable. When we had Zeiss come in to do our annual calibration we found out that the license transfer had not been paid when Machnet bought the machine, so none of our licenses were valid. We then had to pay ~$12,000 to validate the licenses before Zeiss could calibrate. The entire time the owner of Machnet kept saying he "Did us a favor" by installing the older version of the software we requested. The thing is, if the license had been valid in the first place we could have downgraded the software ourselves through Zeiss! We have a generic, 3d printed probe rack from Machnet that will not hold our probes straight. One of the adapter plates was bent. They did replace that, as it was part of our conditions for completing the payment for the machine. I literally watched the tech pry one of the locating balls out of the adapter plate with a paperclip so that it would fit our XXT type. We are probably going to have to replace the XXT head, as it will not stay in balance when changing probes. One of our calibration techs was actually the last one who calibrated the machine at the previous company, and he told us it had those issues due to the way that company was changing probes. We needed the machine up and running so badly that we didn't follow through on our complaints about it properly. This will cost us an additional ~$30,000. When Zeiss found out where we bought the machine they told us this is a repeat issue with Machnet, and every time the owner is in denial that he did anything wrong. STAY AWAY from this company!!!

Horrible and costly experience. Bought equipment advertised as "like new. never been used" Received equipment with missing parts and still unable to use. Absolutely useless response in returning my money. As far as I'm concerned Machnet is happy stealing from others so watch yourself.
