In the past I would go to a hardware store or key shop to have my keys made, and undoubtedly I would get home to find that the key didnt work. I would then have to go back. This was a huge waste of time and gas. I would also be left praying that Take II worked, and wondering why if it did, the job wasnt done right the first time. I had never used KeyMe before. My key was old, so the machine didnt have the ability to make the key while I waited, but indicated that the key would be mailed to me, at no cost. The key works perfectly on my mailbox. It replaced the bent key that I had been struggling with for years. Im going to say that the cost was slightly more than having it duplicated at a hardware store, but the convenience made it so well worth it. I have no doubt the next time I need a key made, Ill be heading back to a KeyMe automated machine. Fast forward I needed a duplicate house key, and was at Bed Bath & Beyond today. Once again the keys worked perfectly. I continue to recommend KeyMe.
